Welcome aboard m8.
Hi stu
by the way, what kind of 600 do you ride?
and(more importantly), is it green?
hiya stu its tel
hello stu600,is that stu600 as in son of fall off,if so shouldn’t it be stu800,no?
Welcome to the forum m8. Enjoy it.
Hey! I mirror what the others have said, welcome to the site, there’s much to come!
GREEN!!! nar you want a nice Red & Black one like mine.
yep its green zx6r bit damaged at the mo but riding a vfr 800 loan bike. Yep son of falloff how you doing. thx for the welcome
ha ha…no mate, the Lads got taste - he went and bought a proper bike…
no people, blue is the colour and suzuki is the name la-de-da-de-da,
NO NO NO
Green is deffo the best colour. Kwakas are the bikes!
Honestly… what is the obsession with GREEN BIKES?
i mean… it started out as a novel idea by kawasaki and thats great but now i bet the designers are thinking… why on earth did we choose that colour… ? they are actually forced to stick to it because they have set their own trend and when u think of a zx6r u only think green… like pavlov’s dogs… we’ve all been conditioned…
and anything italian is red
anything british is slow and unreliable… until now my trumpet has been ok… but who knows eh?
YELLOW IS MUCH BETTER.
Has anyone heard / read reports about triumph race cans?
C
yes…
they are gay…
stupid quote thing didnt get the right bit -my last reply was about the triumph race can thing.
seriously though - there is a huge aftermarket world out there - it may pay to shop around rather than going for a Triumph designed can…
If we are going back to colour schemes then its surely back to racing heritage. So Kawasaki have stuck with their racing colours, what about the rest of them?
If you see a lime green bike, you immediately think Kwaka, what about other colours?
As for the Triumph can, as said already, plenty of aftermarket options and no doubt way cheaper for better performance gain.
Have found out that the 600 & 650 exhaust systems are identical so the world is my oyster relating to race cans… further to that if anyone has a triumph race can they arent road legal nor can they have the removeable baffle to make them so…
other than that they dont look as good.
my choices are as follows:
- Remus or 2. Micron - both in jet black carbon.
now just which one to choose.
C
this is a bit off topic.
chuffster, do you only ride your zx7r on the track?
Im asking, because I am thinking of making mine a track bike next year…I know that there is plenty of scope for improvement on the engine etc & was wondering how much (if anything) you’ve done to the bike, also, how it handles on the track…lets face it, its not the lightest bike around… (ive only done a few trackdays - on a pretty much stocker - full ackrapovich is about it)
Ben, so we dont anhialate topic sent you a rambling PM.
