Im new here and id like to say hi and say something about myself.
I live in East Barnet and am married and have 2 daughters. At the moment i ride a maxi-scooter as 4 years ago i had a masive off on my Suzuki GSXR-600 where i was in hospital for some time and 5 months off work. I smashed up my left had and lower arm when i hit a wall at 45mph and my hand a lower arm took the full force of the wall that i have no real strenth in my hand now and have problems using the clutch and thats why im on a Maxi-scooter. I ride a Gilera Nexus 500, its the best handleing scooter you can get and has a top end of 115mph. I love it to bits but cant wait to get back onto a geared bike again. I did my I.A.M advance riding test on a maxi-scooter and passed. I know loads of riders out there who dont like scooters and i didnt until i got one, are there any other maxi-scooter riders here.
Aprillia are comeing out with a clutchless 6 speed bike called the Mana which is a 850 twin and is what i have been waiting for for years.
Well thats about it for now, please be gentle to me as im new here.
Hi from me too, newbie that I am! John’s yet another rider I’ve met in Real Life, champion bloke and friend. Can’t spell mind (not everyone can easily), but at least he admits it!
JP, two wheels (or even three!) is still not being in a cage. I’m confined to step-through scooters, at least you can get to ride those larger machines.
