Hello to one and all, I’ve been lurking in the background for a bit and thought I’d better say hi, I’m not strictly in London but being close pretty much go through in a lot of directions. One reason being I prefer to stay off the motorways as much as poss but hay ho, so to the nitty gritty then, I live in Wickford and I have a 1200 Bandit, this has gone from un-faired to faired due to doing a few longer runs and getting a little older, thus meaning if I do wan’t to hop along I don’t get my head ripped off. Now I do get it that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but have grown to love it after leaving the superbike in the distant memories as my health just doesn’t make it a pleasure, so without prattling on any further be lucky and ride safe .
Welcome to LB John, it’s a great site to be part of.
Please don’t feel that you need to justify your choice of bike, we all love our bikes and that’s what brings us together.
welcome
Welcome to LB.
Hi & welcome to the community.
Firstly, it would be very helpful if you could post a picture of yourself and your pride and joy in the pinned thread “Newbie Face/Bike Photo Sheet” at the top of the newbie forum, this will help the community recognise you at meets and of course ride-outs.
LB has a regular Wednesday night meet at Borough Market (BM) where we hope you’ll come down and meet like minded members.
Also on a Wednesday night you’ll find LB members at the Ace Café
http://g.co/maps/q2nr2 and Blackheath Tea Hut http://g.co/maps/3yywk
If ride-outs are your thing then check out the Ride-Outs, Meets & Events section of the forum where members post regular ride outs.
So get posting and enjoy your new playground.
Welcome to LB mate. There’s nothing wrong with a bandit :w00t:
