Hi everybody

Big hello to everybody

Registered with the site a while ago, but never came back for some reason. Passed my direct access last year and promptly bought a SV650s. A year and 500 miles later i am looking to change it for something different. I did not like its riding position and found it heavy to maneouvre in east london traffic. Also as i am bit vertically challenged, never felt confortable on its seat. Any suggestions please ?

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hi & welcome to LBs;)

Hi, how the devil?

Hi Stuntman,
What sort of bike do you fancy and how vertically challenged are you?
I don’t have to use motorways to get into town and so for a total change bought a DRZ SM. Absolutely brilliant through London traffic, not good on motorways and tank is small so long commutes in would get tiresome. Cheap to buy and run, but also liked by the thieves.

Thank you everybody

Woohah - I am 5’ 7". Did consider the DRZ SM. Spoke to my local suzuki showroom guy. He said that it would be too tall for me and also that suzuki has stopped producing DRZs now. I test drove the new Suzuki Gladius over the weekend and quite liked it. It has a straighter riding position, and though a tiny bit heavier than my SV650s feels light and easy to maneouvre because of its height and design. It ticked most of my boxes A few reviews i read on the net have been good too. So thinking of ordering one ! !

Yeah I’m 5’ 10" and DRZ was ok for me but much less would probably be uncomfortable. I looked at the Gladius at the London Bike Show, nice bike. I like the Triumph Street Triple but its a bit more cash.
