Seems you’ve got some admirers in the US. They stumbled across the LB work that had been ripped off and put on the site in Washington…

I SEE YA
Hi Jelster. I gather you are a member of LB & SVRider.I believe you’re Steve from Urban Bikers right?
Do you know who arachnid-kid (SVRider ID) is?
Or TSM (SVRider ID)?
Or BillyC (SVRider ID)?
It sounds like they’re local lads so it might be nice to say hello or get them on board LB (if they’re not already).
BTW. The post you have highlighted at SVRider points to a page at WashingtonRiders which loads hundreds of pictures off LB everytime it gets a hit.Apart from ripping off our pictures they aren’t even using their own bandwidth or crediting us in any way! I understand Jay requested that they do something but it’s fallen on deaf ears…Would you please ask SVRider’s moderator to withdraw the link? Thx, Iain.
some rude and thoughtless comments on that site… I wouldn’t be happy if it was me they were talking about in that way…
Makes me want to join up and see how many flames I can get in before being banned. lol
…which of course will cause the same reaction and mess at the LB.com
Billy and TSM are part of the SV crowd who get into Frith St, but usually earlier than the “sports bike crew” as you guys are known. Not sure about the other guy. TSM is recovering after an almost near fatal accident a few weeks ago.
I’m a moderator on SV650.org (I had to start riding somewhere) but the forum is down and they’re using the US SV site for now. I’ve only just signed up, but I’ll make the request, he can only tell me no can’t he… Nothing to lose so I’ll give it a go.
In hindsight, pasting that link here publicly probably wasn’t a good idea, but I hadn’t read all of the posts to be honest. I was trying to point out that you were getting some US air time…
Hello guys! If any of you know the people of the site that are using our photos, could you please ask them to place a link with the credits for our work as the way it is been done is the same of stealing!
We are having loads of problems becouse this, and that’s not fair! Everytime someone place a link of our photos without the proper credit LB is basically paying for them to promote their site as it is using out badwith. I don’t know if the site mentioned is guilty or not! But the washingtonriders definetely is stealing our work as they have already been contacted and are not answering our emails. those pics are copiright of LB and everyone is welcome to use them since you place a credit to us!
We are only looking for justice, to kep this site here for you guys is costing us a lot of money and time! Please help us to keep it up! If you see our pics in other site that yuo are a member without the credit to us? please tell them the right way to do it!
That’s the right way to place a link to someone elses work:

Thank you boys!
PS: Just to inform you : That particular link is donwloading 400 photos every time someone opens the link! IT HAS GENERATED ALMOST 1 MILLION FALSE CLICKS ON OUR PAGE! That is speed that could be used to promote our community or speed up our forum!
I’m sure Foxy will be flattered, I know I certainly am. No harm done. On the other hand, if she’s not, then she’ll kick their asses
Hi all.
yep i am TSM, some people will know who i am, most will not. We have probably spoken in passing.
I know i have spoken to Jay in passing, and a couple of others.
Sorry about that link stuff on the SVrider site, i did post on the front page of that thread about the pics being copied from your site and included a link to the main gallery. Hopefully the mods will do something soon about it.
Oh and that Foxy, Jay & Tony thing was to just clear up an issue with arachnid-kid & johnboy.
arachnid-kid is also known as Spiderman
No worries fella, welcome to LB! Perhaps see you at Frith St tonight?
I might walk down, have not been for a couple of weeks, no bike at the moment due to my accident.
Also got a kind of cast thing on though which gets very uncomfortable.
PS. i read all about yours, sorry.
Ah yes, sorry to hear about yours as well Hope everything is progressing for you.
Welcome and thanks for your reply TSM.
I hope you recover quickly and get back on your sorted SV once she’s repaired.
I don’t believe either “arachnid-kid” or “Spiderman” are user ID’s at LB.
Good luck.
From SVRider.com
Link to site in Washington removed and replaced with a link to your site.
I can’t control what my users post - hopefully no harm done.
Cheers,
-Rob

Hi,
This includes a link to a site based in Washington that have copied and linked their content to the original work carried out by the LB team. Not only is this unethical, but it is also using expensive bandwidth at their cost. I would appreciate it if you could remove the link to the site in Washington.
If your users really want to see pictures from the show, they can come direct to LB, or there are a couple of links to photos from the UK users (myself included)
I appreciate your cooperation on this matter

Thanks,
Steve

Thanks Jelster. We want to build bridges with all communities out there, especially those which have members in London. We’re actively trying to promote the NEC Show article as well, so feel free to pass it around!
I’m very interested in offering the London SV Riders a place of their own at LB, as if they’re having trouble with their current site, we would love to host them here, in a single, or set of private (or public) forums. TSM, who would be the best person to speak to about this?
The best guy to speak to would be a guy called ‘jonboy’ or ‘Admin2’ on the SV650.org site when it comes back up, or just ‘jonboy’ on the svrider site.
Hes second admin and member of the ‘SohoMasive’.
How are you feeling mate ??
Good to see that you’re back home and at least active on the computer…
Yep up and going, but realy bored, i run out of things to do. There is only so much of forums i can browse per day.
Not allowed at work, some legal thing about me and my health. But i do other work related stuff from home.
Thanks
