help! undertray fitting

ok, i thought id tidy up the rear of the bike, and ordered an undertray from busters (yes, i know it was a mistake)

the profile at the back of it was slightly curved, and i thought that this was cause of the angle and the way it would pair up with the light fitting when its fitted.

They sent the wrong instructions, so i started trimming away the old mud guard so it would pair up

things going well, ive now trimmed back the old mud guard so it fits snugly. start positioning the light fitting etc, to see where to drill the holes and guess what? the curve at the back of the tray should be straight- YES ive got a great big fecking hole between it and the light fitting.

Ive now also realised that the little blips in the plastic where it should be screwed to the underside of the bike dont match up either!!

so now ive got the bike in pieces, unrideable as thered be no where to fit the indicators or number plate, and an undertray that dont look like its gona be worth fitting.

so any suggestions?

or is there anyone around tomoro that may be able to pop over and give me a second opinion? ( or hold it for me whilst i take pictures to send back to them!

im well pi$$ed off!!!

You can do some amazing things with cable ties! (and an empty fairy liquid bottle, and some sticky back plastic!)

If my memory serves me correctly Steve, i think your less than 5 mins away from me… I dont mind popping round and offering you a second opinion… any time after 1pm

Give us shout…
