and yes there is fuel in the tank! battery is being charged and boosted,
if it helps mate…on the slingger it runs from left to right.1-4-2-3…from the coils to the plugs…if its back firing …the plugs are ignighting in the wrong order thus, sparking without any or little fuel /air mix in the chamber…catch my drift?
also…does it have a cdi unit?..check that it isnt faulty mate…will be a non runner if its tits…
pm me the details christof and i’ll do a bit of troubleshooting for you…
It’ll tell you which coil for which plug, what to check if not starting, and how to fix it.
Best £20 you can invest - mine’s saved me way more than £20
I don’t know that much, other than check fuel getting to the float bowls on Carbs - there should be a screw on each bowl, which you can undo and see if fuel leaks out.
Check that there is no breaks/cracks in the fuel and air intakes and all seals around carb and engine are good. Check fuel pump and it’s filter, and maybe replace the fuel line filter.
Once identified it’s not fuel problem, then has to be electrical.
i have put a new fuel line in, and i have a haynes manual tht doesnt tell me the way the leads go?? yea i think im guna get a new coil any way then check and pobably change the carbs,
