Help me spend some money

Just sold my Trizuki and i am looking to spend about £2k of the money on a supermotard.

I have looked at a VOR which looks nice visually, anybody out there owned one??? cant seem to find much info on em.

Most of the threads on here seem to lean towards the KTM, Husaberg, and Husky any owners of Suzuki DR who could give me some info.

Generally my riding has consisted of big 4 cylinder machines with tuned engines, i am lookin for something to play on while the Busa fighter is being built.

Cheers guys

Vor is a good bike mate but the spares can be tricky to source , earlier rotax engined CCM 604’s can be found for your budget - right good tool and theres brilliant backup available , also consider a (dont laugh) MZ baghira , people take the piss but it runs a tweaked xt660 motor + with some intake and exhaust mods can be a perky little tool for sillyness

of course theres also all manner of home made 'moto’s out there aswell , CCM would get my vote though

One of the guys i know on another site bought a VOR…

It seized about 2 weeks into ownership

Apparently i could be wrong but ive heard that competition 4 strokes (which the VOR is) needs a full oil change every 500miles, you need to also check the oil level very very frequently as they only hold about 1.5litres of oil

and a rebuild every 10 hours?! (that could be wrong, dont quote me!)

suzuki dr’s are excellent bikes well constructed, small tank range, but plenty fun

Take a look at the Yamah XT660 they do a s/moto and an enduro, cheap to maintain, cheap to mod, and loads of fun…

Ouch…heard from others much the same…spares are a real issue

Cheers guys

yeh its true and there seriously highly strung , your looking at performance 2 stroke levels of maintenance and theres no full time UK importer so spares are tricky

the guy you mention doesnt happen to be on mcnninjas does he
