Right I need a new helmet for under £200 i know that buys a lot but i’m mainly after a Shoei are there any killer deals around at the moment? infinity are doing there 10% club card now so would make a raid 2 £193…can we do better?

Got my helmets from eBay and I had no issue with them whatsoever. 2 of them were involved in accidents had them checked and they are still good.
I saw a nice Shoei GSXR with 3 visors, went for £180… wish I’d had bid on it…
i looked on ebay but all the new ones were pretty much the same or more than the online stores

I follow the motion of Helmet City great guys, also tell them your from LB they may even do a little more discount for you…
When I got my RX7 Arai it was new but was from a guy that got it and was too small for his head, since shops have a strict policy about returning helmets he could only sell it.
Helmet was pristine, tags and all… got it at a fraction of the shop price, think it was £210, this included the £10 postage.
I would keep an eye on specific helmets, you might get lucky. Obviously check photos, and ask questions, see the person’s eBay rating etc etc before you buy. You’ll be surprised what you can find. Also check the J&S shop on eBay or official site, they sometimes have gear at half price or less.

Your Avatar couldn’t be more appropriate Andrei, you must have large ones as there is just no way I would be wearing a 2nd hand lid that had been involved in an accident no matter how well it’s checked out - my head is a wee bit more valuable than that - each to their own though.
went with this one in the end for just over £200 got a free black visor and free shipping too…
Anyone here works in a shop who can give me a deal on an Arai or Shoei lid. As my Shoei X-spirit was trashed in the accident last week.
lol you misunderstood me, I said the helmets I got were tested in accidents… as in I had the accident wearing them and after the accident I had them tested by Arai and they are OK, not even a scratch, on the Arai the 2 top vents came off, I assume the impact but it was replaced when I had it tested…
The helmets were bough as 2nd hand from eBay, one was brand new as the guy couldn’t return it to the shop said was too small for him and one was used as a pillion helmet. Both helmets are pristine and are great, never had any problems with them.
