I am Stephen and I have just returned to biking after a gap of 35 years. The westward extension of the congestion charge was too much and coupled with parking charges, I decided to go to work on a bike. I passed my DAS on the second attempt and today I picked up my new silver Honda CBF600S.
My boss says it is a girl’s bike (he rides a VFR) but I don’t care - it has a beautiful, sweet, smooth engine and it will make the journey to work a pleasure.
I still drive a car for journeys out of London and with the family so I shall not be slagging off car drivers any more than I did before I got a bike. I recommend DAS for car drivers - the refresher has improved my driving and riding a bike teaches you to look out more and to anticipate what might happen.
