Just wanted to say hi from way up north to everyone - looking forward to hearing from anyone and passing on any information about bike scene in my part of the UK, will be glad to give any insights, tips on rides etc etc etc - just ask ! I ride most days when the weather is good - I know, I know fairweather biker, but to be honest I reckon if you’re riding while trying to get feeling back in your tootsies or hands, or sodden gloves means concentration diverted away from actually riding… that’s my excuse.
Most of my riding is done with my best pal (sadly he still thinks his R1 is better than my Italian masterpiece, one day he’ll see the light…) and we have wonderful routes a mere 5 mins away from where we live. Also, I do a lot of track riding, usually go over to watch TT as well. I’m off to Almeria in late May, so all excited about that. Have previously been to Valencia and Jerez and in UK, Knockhill of course, only done Oulton Park and loved it, so hoping to get some other English tracks in sometime.
My bike lives in the house - started that havit not long after the divorce came through !! So the next lady definitely has to be a biker … Cheers for nowRonnie
