Im not only a newbee on LB but literally a new biker, just passed a month ago and got myself an Yamaha R6 05. Its getting a new exhaust today so will post some pics over the weekend.

It is quite quick but i haven’t really experienced the full potential of it as i’m still rusty on my turns and i don’t use much of my back brake so i still need a lot more practice.
By the way ppl im thinking of going to one of those wheelie schools to accelerate my learning process, what do you reckon?

I did a wheelie school a couple of months after passing my test and I honestly think I would have benefitted more from it if I had waited until I had been riding a bit longer.
Personally, I think the money would be better spent on a track day with an instructor or the California Superbike School. That said, there is no substitute for getting miles under your belt. Ride, ride, ride, ride. There’s normally rideouts on here. Keep a look out for the ones where we use the corner man marking system because then there will be a range off different riding styles/speeds and you wont feel pressured to ‘keep up’.
Oh, and definitely do bikesafe. Those coppers sure can ride!!
