Hello and ALLY PALLY Aftershow

Hey everyone,I’m a drummer in a band called Burning Condors and we’re playing at the ALLY PALLY aftershow at Ace Cafe in a couple of weeks.

I thought i’d come and say Hi and introduce us rather than turn up cold!

A little bit about us: We’re a 4 piece band that are currently playing the London nightclub scene, we’ve had an amazing response from the 50’s scene in London and also the Country/Rockabilly scene!

Sounds like: Rockabilly, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Indie and country all in equal measures!

We hail from London but our singer is from Bradford (or oop norrf as we say!)

We’re all really looking forward to the aftershow, from what we’ve heard it’ll be a brilliant night.

If you fancy checking us out so we’re not complete strangers on the night then we’ve got our website with everything on from pictures of us playing to video’s of us playing (hmm… that doesn’t read as well as i thought it might!) but everything’s on there! www.burningcondors.com

We can’t wait for the party and to meet some new people, We’ll be the lost looking people so come and say Hi! i’m sure we can share a drink or story or two!

Cheers for youe time everyone!

Rory (Condor)

That wouldn’t be “self promotion” would it?

 Hmm… I guess it could be seen that way… ;)It really was more of a Hello and to see if anyone on these forums was thinking of attending the aftershow and to introduce ourselves before we’re there!

Apologies if i’ve offended, it really wasn’t my intention. We’ll be at the Cafe during the day and i’m sure we’ll end up meeting some people throughout.

I know i’d usually check out a band prior to attending an event, just to see what they are like and if i’ll listen to them or not.

I hope that serves as a better kind of explanation than my first attempt!

Rory!
