Frank Thomas were recently bought out by J&S. They’re actually pretty good, I bought a leather jacket from them not long ago and while it did have a QC issue (that I should have noticed if I’d looked properly when buying!) they were simply superb about changing it for a brand new one. Thoroughly recommend them.

If you buy Frank Thomas clothing, make sure it was made on a Tuesday like my jacket!
The FT gear is usually faulty but every now and again you find a good one with no issues, which must of been made on a Tuesday - the Monday hangover has gone as well as the Monday blues, Wednesday the weekend is getting closer so concentration is lower, Thursday is the day before Friday and they are now desperate for Friday afternoon, Friday there only thinking about getting out of work - therefore Tuesday must be the most productive and eagle eyed day of the week!:Whistling:

I agree - I have never had such friendly and helpful service in a bike store my whole life :D:D Walking into the shop in Stockwell and being greeted with friendly smiles and offers of discounts and great kit to boot - who could ask for more I say?

Hein Gericke stuff is just nicer in some way - FT seems to be made out of cheap stuff, it all looks a bit thin & chavvy.

The ‘waterproof’ FT jacket I had lasted all of 1 month, I’ve got 2 HG waterproof jackets which haven’t let me down in more than 2 yrs including monsoon like downpoors during tow of the RBLR 1000’s.
