Oh yes please.
Great roads for a scooter eh John!
sorry but i thought that as funny lol Soz John
now thats were id like to be now!!
Your only jelous twinkle toes.
If John gets one of those three wheeler scooters, he’d have the better of most of us in the corners.
Fook me those things look fun…Imagine drifting it in around a corner without the fear of falling off.
What one of those things needs is a 600cc Super Sport engine…A small one with excellent power output like the lump in the new CBR 600 RR.
Geez…I need to build me something like that
you need to get a drool smiley added!!!
Great pics Afro, looks fantastic.
The picture of the long straight reminds me of something …
There is a long straight like that just outside my hometown, it’s a 10 mile stretch of road with a couple of nice long straights and loads of twisties thrown in. All on open flat moorland where you can see through most of the corners. It’s the Grantown on Spey to Dava road, here.
Apparently, on the first long straight, if you get up enough speed you might not notice the sudden dip in the middle of it that will send you airborne IOM TT style and make you almost poo yourself in a big way … so someone told me !!
Trojan…I don’t like long straights anymore.
Too many of your mates following me…Always flashing there headlights whilst I’m trying to concentrate on the road
Drei, do you know where that first pic is taken…AWESOME…I will go there.
Afro, you are going down to Spain? I’ll find a Google Earth Map of a couple of the roads we done and if around that area you should give them a go. Great place for an R1 to play On our ride there was 3 R1’s, K4 Gixer, 748, 2 Factory’s and we all had smiles on our faces Also, the police move over to let your pass (this happened once and I don’t know if they would do it all the time…but worth a try )
Bloody hell…They move over
UK coppers could learn that manoeuvre
Yes mate going to Spain…Landing in Santander…Riding down to Malaga then across to Valencia over a week, then riding home through France.
Any info appreciated…Cheers.
Drei, if your got a mate with GPS then ask to use it. It was great for us as it directed us towards the good/great roads and it can work out to save a load money after you give up with the map and spend some notes using the toll roads.
Google maps does not work from my work so I’ll sort out a couple of the names over the weekend and then post then. Their are some great roads in SE France which if I had the chance would like to spend a good couple of days “riding” on. The police in France did not pull over to the side for me but pulled me over… such is life and if you want to ride quick $hit happens
