Heated Gloves Rock

Subject says it all really. Rode up to Nottingham yesterday, in the freezing cold, 126 miles non-stop home to hotel (took the Motorway as time was short), and my hands were toasty and warm the whole time! Same can’t be said for the rest of me though…thinking about maybe getting a heated vest now!

Which ones did you get as i’m looking into these! Where from/Cost/etc?

I want to get heated gloves too, and socks and vest and trousers! Sounds like it would be worth it

I bought these:

On Guliano’s recommendation. Great service, next day delivery free, competitive price. Thoroughly recommended.

look great, still expensive but thats the best price i have seen

They look good, but 70 odd quid for the battery pack sounds a bit steep! Need to try them on, hopefully they will have some at the show!

They always have them in stock at Get Geared near Leathehead if you want to try the stuff for size and check out the different styles of gloves etc. However, their prices are not competative with the website Simon and I used.

I would wire to the bike battery instead of using the battery packs. It isn’t a big deal to do it yourself, and for about £12 you can get a coiled extension so you are not literally tied to the bike when connected to it.

Got the same XR12 heated gloves now, on Julians recommendation also (thanks :)) but have to wait to try them…due to a puncture :frowning:

I agree there doesn’t seem much point in getting the battery pack as they are simple to connect to the bike battery.

They look and feel like good quality gloves…if your hands are somewhere between sizes I would recommend you go for the larger size…I ordered ‘small’ but had to change for medium…they now fit fine but still quite snug.

Ditto, loving mine too. Grabbed mine in a recent VisorDown Powerbuy, at bargain price of £99. Hooking them up to battery is no hassle. Though I found the wires only just long enough to go from my right hand to control box on left hip.

Yeah, I missed that Powerbuy :-(. Although you had to pay for Postage, so I think you paid something like £110, only £30 less than I did! :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah yeah, £107 in the end and they took a couple of weeks to turn up.

£107? Get thee a set of muffs.
