I think there is a lot of hot air on here sometimes but there is less hot air on rideouts and I’ve never met a trool on the trail. I’ve been on probably 40 rideouts with LB over 3 years and met some great people, had some good laughs and seen lots of the countryside. Plus I’ve had lots of free advice both bike and non bike related and Ricky (who I met through the site) sorted an replacement engine for the old bike and fitted some accessories for the new bike. Over all I’m pretty positive.
I do need to arrange another Zumo seminar and the theatre trip I posted 2 years ago though.
I havent read any of the above posts so sorry if I am repeating comments made already.
For me, LB is probably not as good as before because I dont know who any of the new LBers are because I dont have time to come to any meets and therefore I dont know the people who are posting. I have also swapped my mileage from fun Jetstream rideouts to journeys to and from Surbiton. (I miss you Jetstream

There does seem to be a lot of bitching but I cant really follow most of it…and for all I know its purely harmless fun.
But I am not sure that even if I did have time to go to BM or the ACE that it would make much difference as it sounds as though people are going elsewhere.
Maybe we need another decent central meeting point and for the breakaway factions to want to be part of the “main” LB?
And probably more social events…although saying that I probably cant make any until about this time next year!
