Has anyone seen these?? What do yo think??

Im in the market for a new lid, been looking when i came accross these check out the thumbnails http://www.reevu.com/what_you_see.asp

Interesting, not seen one (from any angle ) but would try one out.

I’m wondering about the impact absorption of the light channel that runs from front to back, how it compares to the main players in the market.

Mebbe see’em at Ally Pally?

im guessing that was taking into consideration when making it, as it has to pass certain standards but as ideas go that has to be near the top of the pile…

But what if the sun is setting low behind you? is there a tint of the mirror or dos it just blind you?

Q: What about the glare from vehicles coming from behind?
A: The helmet has a series of reflective surfaces that limit the intensity of light hitting the front reflective surface. This limits the intensity of reflected light significantly. Even a slight turn of the head can ensure the reflective light path is stopped. Find out more on the safety & design page

Im sure sunlight comes into that catogery i think i would like to try one before lashing out 300 notes…

I would hope that they’ve taken care of that.

They do look like a fantastic idea!!

Hummmm not too bad then

I have mirrors for looking behind me and I can always look over my shoulder. I would rather concentrate on whats infront of me than whats behind. But if it rocks yer boat, try it out.

I tried one of these on some time ago and can honestly say it was dreadful. The rear view picture is not sharp / bright which means you have to study it carefully rather than a quick glance in a mirror. If you ride a sports bike the angle at which you have to hold your head at to get a horizontal view behind is only possible if you have no back bone.

I guess on a cruiser in bright bright daylight, they might work

mmm interesting. Not sure I would like that I reckon it would break concentration too much.

I tried one at last years Ally Pally, awful. The image was so small and distorted I can imagine you’d have to concentrate to much to register anything. Plus as said on a sportsbike all you’d see is the sky!

The one they had was a god awful looking helmet too.

I’ll stick to my mirrors and Arai lids I think

and what if the person seating behind is that your g/fs very atractive sister? You may crash!

Praps im better off not then, besides i want summin yellow and they dont do that hmmmmmmmmmmm
