Handy Solo grounds ole Kenobi

The Millenium Falcon is officially broken down and awaiting the Intergalactic equivalent of SOS.

The ride to Clacton was fantastic, a great day had by all, but the ride home just confirmed that her guts were really NOT well.

She cut out on me at least 3 times at over 50 miles and hour, which was bl00dy scary! And I could hear the engine changing its patterns the whole time. Misfiring, just running empty and stuff…really bad news. Now if I roll off at all I feel like I’m riding a pogo stick, and this isn’t just slow speeds. She was doing this at 60 on the motorway as well, so its definitely not me that just can’t ride…

Anyhoo…looks like I’m going to be ducking under the radar once more to visit Zagra Blob’s Bits and Pieces Shack to get a refund, or at least a pro to have a look and tell me what the hell is going on…

But if anyone knows what it is I did to piss the Karma Gods off, please let me know. There’s too many of you to apologise to individually, so will a group “Sorry” do?

Hopefully catch up with you lot round the Asteroid belts of Earl’s Court, or at the very least the Soho Space Port…they’re all spacey round there!

Easy now.

glad you managed to get home safely but you must be gutted that the bike is playing up. Good luck with either getting it sorted or refunded.

Aww no! Mebbe it was me chasing ya that did it? Hope ya manage to get her fixed up and raring to go soon, chuck

that’ll teach ya, don’t buy green …only kiddin tobe take it back and demand satisfaction

Take it back to the shop and ask them to sort it. It’s new to you and was sold with a limited warranty - so make use of it.

Aye, that’s the plan for tomorra!
Motorcycle Centre have already said to bring it back and they’ll sort it out

And by the way Paul…its Blue. Green’s too slow!

sounds like you have dodgy fuel in the tank mate be carefull as if it is that your not covered under warrenty i had the same problem on friday excatly the same thing toook it back up to DK motorcycles on saturday when i got it up there they said to me if it was dodgy fuel they would have to charge me the labour of 49 pounds per hour, i was gobsmacked but after looking at a few bikes and going back to see them at service he told me the bad news is that i had dodgy fuel but the good news was that i didnt have to pay anything as i took the time in bringing it up there so be careful there mate

ridde ssafe ginger

Nice one Ginge.
Had words with the bloke at Motorcycle Centre where I bought her from.
She’s still under warranty, so they’ll look at her no matter what (thank the Funk for that eh)
I’ve gotta get her down there before the warranty runs out though, but that shouldn’t be a problem unless this hurricane doesn’t naff off.

Well done on all the Newbie nights mate, looks like your always busy there!
