it can happen on road bikes too and think how bad it would have been if it had landed in his chin
I have seen that video so many times and still not working out if what drops in the floor in front of the bike is his hand or the bike part?
i think it knocked his glove off cez

Just watched it again and kept pausing playing it is his glove i dont know if his hand was inside it tho.
maybe cez, i can’t se his hand just before he grabs at it. it could have knocked his hand off i spose
apparently was a piston that fired thru the head, if thats the case then chances are he would have lost his hand. If you do the math it not hard to work out the force required to blow his hand off.
Yeah, I’m going for the ‘it was his hand’ vote too.
On the other hand though…
