Got my Halloween Party coming up on Friday, done everything… got a dead headless Ghostbuster to put in the corner of the room, flying ghosts all over the ceiling… but only now have I just thought “musci!!” :w00t:
Anyone got any good recommendations for some spooky music tracks?.. can be anything from The Disturbed to S Club!.. the varied the better!
Well Alice Cooper said yesterday in his Planet Rock radio programme that he has been celebrating Halloween for the past 40 years so I guess any of his stuff will do!Not sure whether you plan to rock or remain in the middle of the road but in case it’s the former, I would play the following, loud:
Hells Bells by Australia’s finest (AC/DC to the uninitiated)
Witchy Woman - Eagles
Abracadabra - Steve Miller Band
Gallow’s Pole - Led Zeppelin
Werewolves Of London - Warren Zevon
Black Magic Woman - Santana
(Don’t Fear) The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
Witch Hunt - Rush
Season Of The Witch - Donovan
Frankenstein - Edgar Winter
People Are Strange - The Doors
Bark At The Moon - Ozzy Osbourne
Undercover Of The Night - The Rolling Stones
Wild Thing - the Troggs
Tubular Bells - Mike Oldfield (for its Exorcist connections)
Hungry Like a Wolf - Duran Duran (you asked for variety!)
There is lots of Techno stuff about that has a real spooky feel to it, check out Radio slave Grindhouse (Dubfire terror planet mix) it about 10 mins long real creepy vocorder vocal over it.
The other best route is google just put in Halloween music
I instantly thought of “people are strange” on the Lost Boys soundtrack.
Agree with Thriller - the full version with all the wailing!
