I’m after a set of crash bobbins for my Gixxer that don’t require the LHS fairing to be modified.
Does anyone know of a kit or mounting bracket you can do this with? I saw a K7 750 at Ace Cafe today that had a mount to do this, but they had (unfortunately) used the bobbins so any branding had been rubbed off.
Appreciate any advice before my track day in 6 weeks or so…!

do you need to modify?
most I seen they have the bobbins in roughly the middle where there is an existing hole I always thought you just use a spacer and longer bolt and bobs your uncle?
clearly im not a pro at fitting crash protection :laugh:

Search for ‘no drill’ and there are some top of Google. I had the R&GS but someone else with a steady hand drilled the holes!
I’ve seen a few where there is a bar that extends out so the fariring doesn’t need drilling out. As above google, no drill. Having had a K7 and it heading down the road, I’ve seen the battering that the crash bung can take, I’m a bit sceptical about the no drill option. Having said that I’m ready to be proved wrong.
I can however say that the R&G ones really work!
