My GSXR 1000 K2 Track Bike
I have owned this bike for about 12 months but i knew the previous owner (trackday junkie) and it used to be his road bike, i bought it after he decided to put his K7 on track and had planned to keep it; he had had it for 5 years.
This bike has many extras and is ready to use. If it sells for 3k i will included a full spare fairing set black and red including tank, and the spare wheels with think track discs! I have done about 10 track days on the bike plus 4 days in almeria in feb. The bike totally holds its own, the mods done compliment not just speed but handling and stability. I ride a good pace (fast inters or fast group) and riders of a similar standard on newer gixxers and blades may pull away a bit on the straight but they have to brake so much earlier its almost funny! I love this bike and im very tempted to ship it but i can only take 1 bike without having to pay a small fortune in taxes and VAT!!

I’m open to sensible offers of 3k plus, i have already turned down £2800 i’m in no rush to sell. Also this bike could be available on finance if needed from Red Dog Superbikes Pottersbar - 01707 663344 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 01707 663344 end_of_the_skype_highlighting - The bike is known to these guys and they offered to sell it on my behalf; they valued it at 3.5k but in asking a little less. To be honest, if you broke the bike up you could raise more than that from the parts. Needless to say, i have a huge pile of paperwork and receipts for all work, including £1500 spent on the ohlins and the forks.
The only other thing worth mentioning is that since i have owned i have spent a fortune smartening it up as im a bit obsessed with the bikes looking great aswell as running great. It had a full going over in August, it had all the swing arm bearings replaced and a whole load of other tidy up work costing me £856!! I also have an oil and a filter and some other spares.
This bike does have a v5 and wiring is intact. It is currently declared SORN but it could go back on the road with a little work.

The reserve is pretty low, but i do have 2 people interested at the moment, if it does not make 3 k i will break it up and sell the bits.
