Gsxr about to be taken by the man

There is a GSXR chained with a helmet to a post near me for at least 3 months. White tail piece with black checkers, 13 and STINKY written in felt pen on it. Cover has ripped and now a parking ticket has landed on it.
Anyone know whose it is as it is on the way to the crusher very soon.
Cheers

Looks abandoned. There was a scooter like that near work in Westminster sitting there corroding and racking up fines. If something has been left for 3 months chances are no one is going to claim it.

What happens in this situation? Can I call dibs or something?

left footpeg looks bent forward. I suspect crashed and unrideable and dumped as uneconomical to repair

Call me crazy, but that doesn’t look like the back end of a 1992 GSXR750.

if no one claims it then its crushed

& nope it classed as theft

I think there’s a process by which you can contact the DVLA, they contact the current owner and under some convoluted paperwork you can claim it as like abandoned and salvage.

no lights or indicators

& something doesn’t look right for it to be a 1992 GSXR

so it could be a mongrel

It’s attached by an Almax chain so I would have thought they would have come back for it. Even if it is a POS the chain isn’t!

Help the process by removing the chain for them and buy yourself a new lock as a reward

This. Just ask any scrote loitering around to borrow their angle grinder.

You'll need a tracksuit if you're going to do any angle grinding. Safety first.

Seen this bike today, strange is still there…
