well maybe its worth 120 quid second hand with the scratch…
and errrmmm i only want half of it coz i want a cut down sooooo…
60 quid!!!
Adz cut it smaller (£45 worth shorter)
id take £120 for it , you cant have discount for stubby’ing it tho
hehe cheers james you should get around that for it…
having just shelled out 150 for HM racing to map the bike id be stupid to change the can now!
Plus i likes my carbon ackra
But i may take you up on your Mentoring offer mechanics wise as im going to “atempt” to change the head bearings on my k5 750, basically they have had to put up with me teaching my self to wheelie over the past year and ermmm are not in the best of health!
so i may give you a shout, i am armed with a haynes but it could still go tits up!!
Adam
there not so bad to do on those - tricky bit is getting the bike supported so you can get the front end out , they may just need more grease , alot of the time if you repack them with grease they feel good again
Or £30 for a new set and don’t have to do the job twice?!
ah but i trained as a mechanic though mate , not a fitter youll find in most cases the factory fit the head races dry - same as they do with the wheel bearings etc… does them no favours at all
