Can anyone recommend a ground anchor as my insurance said i need one as it is parked in the drive and it’s £7000 worth of bike.
i hear these are good
Puppy put a really good thread on here once about “how to fit a ground anchor” with pictures - worth trying to find it again.
It’s a shame I can’t put on of these on the pavement outside my house xD
I’ve used the Hardy anchors in a couple of places where I’ve lived.
Absolutely solid and dead easy too fit.
Does anyone know a fitter for the anchors? I’ve bought one and my builder is got MIA.
hope thats not contagious!! LOL
Fit it yourself, they’re pretty easy to do.
If you don’t have a drill to do it, you can usually hire them for about £20.
It is at your workplace!
Is your office on the 3rd floor? Saw lots of Nectar flags hanging from the ceiling.

I bought a Y anchor so think it’d be more complicated, or do you think I could manage?

If it’s just a bolt down one then it won’t be too difficult.

No I got to dig a hole in the ground and bury it in cement.

Always room for a racist in there!
I’ve fitted a couple before, drill and bolt ones, not too hard but you need a propped drill bit if you’re putting it in concrete…
I’m sure the sold secure website would be a good place to look…

Even better, you won’t even need to hire a drill, you can just buy a hammer and chisel from a diy store and smash a lump out of the concrete to mount the anchor
I’ve got one of these, had it over 2 years now and seems to do the job nicely, goes well with my Almax III chain.Having said that, if I had seen Puppy’s post beforehand, I probably would have got one of those underground locks he used and had it professionally installed (I’m hopeless at DIY).
