The joke is surely about those leathers being a size 12 -
the only way she is getting her back side in a size 12 is if she is shopping in America or perhaps has found a specialist manufacturer of fat-ass leathers (= comfort fit with lycra panels) and she was pushed into them. I would hate to see the muffin tops on that!
