got to change the name of the bull to houdini

I have installed post and rail and some additional barbed wire areas for the cows to wander in…today i find my bull wandering on the wrong side of the fence, no holes no marks nothing…how the hell he got out I have no idea…and he is too big to argue with…keeping cows is a lot of work…

Ha, I had a similar problem of a smaller scale, a baby gargoyle escaped - he was missing for 3 days, eventually found him 3 floors down sitting on top of the freezer, looked like he’d been feeding off household insects. I’m amazed how he didn’t get mauled by the dogs.

I definately had the read that a few times just make sure you wrote what you wrote there… :laugh:

thats the little fella

That is so sweet! :cool::smiley:

can imagine, but this bull is about 500kg’s and nigh on 6 foot tall with 2 foot of horns and a lot of body…still perplexed how the bugger got out…

You have a clever bull then.

That sounds like bull to me…

Silly bugger probaly jumped over the fence…you’d be suprised how high they can jump with a good run up:w00t: we had some heifers once that jumped out of their field and we found them 12 miles away…STAMPEDE!!

so going to raise the fence next week with another layer of barbed wire and more posts…am so confused…putting a camera out there to watch them…that will be fun…

Thank the lord for the later picture. I was beginning to think Terry Pratchet novels were coming true!

hey oldguy you saying you dont believe in father christmas…shame on you…I do

I reckon you were so focused on the new fence… and spent so long a hard days work at it! that you ended up on the inside and the bull on the outside laughing its horns off :D:D:D:D

I thought this was the Dabbun story at first… must have been a general escaped bulls issue across the country yesterday. Are you dairy farming, 2strokes?

Sometimes they try to go under, others are just happy to stay in. :slight_smile:

:w00t:OMG!! :laugh: nice!! :smiley:

I think thats called taking advantage…

I am beef farming for a bit of fun and land management 7wheels…only got 3 at the moment and another two on the way…and will likely get another 4 or 6 next year once I HAVE LEARNED HOW TO LOOK AFTER THEMM AND KEEP THEM BEHIND THE FENCE…
