well done mate i could do with a career change, if u commute into london on ya bike just be carefull where you leave it, alot go missing from up town.
Congratulations from Kansas!
well done mate I take it your going to the Ace tonight?
Good on ya!
Well done, Anil! What will you be doing there?
There’s a free Corporation car park (well, free for bikes) with CCTV and 24h security in White’s Row, just a stone throw away from UBS.

Nice one mate! Be good to see you more often.
Congrats dude!
Paivi - I work just off Liverpool Street too, can anyone use that car park? Be very handy!
Congratulations Anil! If you take the bike in, don’t leave it on the street, please! They go!
Thanks guys! Im back in bristol atm been in london all of this week and have got so much uni work couldnt even stay for tonight to hit the ace, infact last time i took the bike out was when we went to soho the fri b4…depressing.
Thank Paivi that is awesome, nearer the time ill be calling them to see if i am indeed allowed…even if it was say £5 the whole day for a bike i would prob pay the odd few times.
Im gonna be a technology intern, which means i will be workign for 10 weeks at just under graduate pay, if i live up to there expectations (heres hoping) i will be offered a full time job after my final year at uni. Depending on what division within technology i am placed ill be designing programming applications for the co. infastructure and/or other trading in house software.
I havent fully accepted the offer, the contract is on its way and im still waiting to hear from goldman sachs as ive been put on there waiting list and jpmorgan. The main advantages is that ubs is the closest to my house and only takes 25 mins on the tube plus 10 mins walking but doesnt have an in house gym. Need to also find out about the catering if they have a subsidised canteen as alot of money will go there.
Need to work out if i did commute on the bike how i would take my suit in each day, prob have to take a suit bag and change at work!Dilemmas!
congratulations, best of luck anil.
All Corporation car parks are free for bikes. They have loads of space in all of them, the Swan Lane one near Monument for example has the entire basement level dedicated to bikes. Cars basically subsidise us bikes.
What you need to do in all of them is go round the barriers, but the gaps are wide enough to allow this. Also, make sure you park in the clearly sign posted bike areas, as otherwise they’ll leave a note “inviting” you to pay.
Check the link I posted earlier for the location of them, but the ones I can remember off the top of my head are the Whites Row one in Spitalfields, Swan Lane (Monument), London Wall (SW corner of London Wall and Moorgate) and Barnard’s Castle (Blackfriars).
Big thumbs up to the Corporation!
Congrats Anil ! Big High-five to you buddy
Congrats on that mate!
