well as some of you know my bullet cam is playing up right now ( but I will bring it with me at the weekend ) , so I was looking for a new one , and found this bad boy :
It’s a wireless Bullet Cam with 32Mb internal Storage ( I’ve got a 1Gig card for it ). It runs on 2 AA batteries and with the 1Gig card will record 1 hours of video at 640x480 res… I know it’s not the same as DV ( I’m ordering the Wireless DV ones as well ) , but since this is a total complete unit it’ll be really easy just to move it about …
It wont be with us for the weekend (on its way from the USA) , but it’ll be a pretty good laugh when it does J
I’ve converted a video I shot to the quality that the camera will output ( size, data rate , frame rate etc etc ) and it isn’t too bad … If it all works out I’ll buy another and rent it out to you guys…
Got to admit I wouldn’t order from RFConcepts again after my camera went wrong and I got zero customer service. That’s why I started looking on eBay for them… there are some from Singapore for only £21 including shipping its still only £37…
RFconcepts called me this morning to let me know that the cam with wide angle lens is out of stock so do I mind waiting another day for delivery? I asked if they could send a normal one and i’ll pay extra for the spare wide lens.
They gonna send it anyway for the same price, how cool is that? So tomorrow we’ll see if it arrives.
i’ve got both the lenses that they offer and what i will say is make sure it’s screwed in tight !!! you need a little tool really but if the bloody lenses is even half a turn out the image will blur
yep totally hear what your saying, but if you drop a 24 frame video down to 15fps it isnt that bad… This sint going to replace my bullet cam just go where i dont want to stick my DV camera
no i changed my mid in the end and went for this :-
It’s wireless with 30 frames per second and a lot smaller unit, and on its way from HK, that said the bike is of course still in pieces care of Mr f*cking Christmas …
