i used to wana get me knee down @ every chance i could. if youve never been on the track i strongly recomend it. its a fun day out and u learn so much more than u would on the road in a safer enviroment. Plus no gatsos

yeah i wanna do a track day but wanna get sum practise n confidence so i dont look like a complete berk!!!

I’ve managed to scrape my right foot peg … and my toe … but not my knee yet !

Me and LMT next

I did my first track day at brands hatch some two weeks ago, see picture thats me getting my knee down on the second 20 minute session…you will never be looked on as a fool, at a track day no matter your speed…unless you are a fool and do stupid stuff that endangers everyone…I went out and had a ball…the only real problem now is that I want to ride that fast always but you just cant do it on real roads on an R1 and stay alive…getting your knee down on the track is the only way to stay on your bike…my instructor told me that if i didnt get off my seat (which i though i was doing) i would crash. He followed me and said i was actually off the side of the tyre at one point, thats when me pegs and things were scraping the floor…it was just a matter of time before I came off…so i started to hang off like a crazy man and woh there goes my knee on the floor, every corner and for most of the corner and it starts to feel much safer…and natural…go do a track day sooner rather than later, and dont be scared of looking a fool, you learn so much but have so much fun too…

No probs dude and well done!! To be honest, totally agree with the above point re: the track day, you have a natural style and there is no way you would look out of place on a track day.

Was a good ride, almost 4.5hrs in the saddle yesterday!! was knackered when I got home…

Also gonna add my first here, got my left down on the same roundabout!! yeah!!! Done left on the track before but never on road!

The roundabout is on an industrial estate with only one entrance, although it is a little tight for my liking, definitely a left knee downer!

Oggi, any time dude, I got good roundabouts north, east and west now!

Yeap! definitely…literally next session I reckon I can get both of you down…

Er…knees down I mean…

oooooh er, I say
