good used bike dealers

I’m browsing,

who are the good dealers that you have dealt with, that you would recommend, that stock bikes in the 4-6k range.

need a frugal commuter, that isn’t a fecking CB500, so don’t even start. I don’t want to know what bike you would recommend, I can feck that up for myself, I want to know where you would go to buy one please. and I know all about ebay, dealers please.

Chiswick Honda have some used bikes, not all Hondas and usually part exchange trade ins with a warranty and recent service.

Check out Open Road motorcycles.

I bought my Striple off them- they were really great to deal with and no dodgy dealings.

Dobles Honda in Coulsdon - I bought my CBF1000 from there. One of three of that model bike that they had within your price band.

P&H in Crawley. they sell most makes and have LOADS on the showroom floor :slight_smile:

Is it definitely a dealer you want?
Toony is selling a 2012 Yamaha Diversion 600 with low mileage for £4k ono.

If it’s a dealer you want, i had a good experience (albeit a long time ago) with John’s of romford Suzuki.

Bacons Kawasaki in Newbury Park have given me excellent service with parts and do have other makes. Haven’t bought a bike from them though.
Woodford motocycles I’ve heard good reports but not dealt with them

On yer bike in Aylesbury, quite a few of us LBers buy from them frequently! Good lads there.

I’ve bought from Dobles and from HGB before, and have had good experiences with both.

Thanks Guys, I’ve bought from Dobles too, found them good value on some of their range, but think the older bikes they stock are massively overpriced, lots up there that I haven’t heard of though, so I’ll be cyber loafing now for the rest of the day, while I should be working, nice!:smiley:

http://www.finsmotorcycles.co.uk in redhill had very tidy bikes when i bought mine. They mark them up a bit but they come with 3 months warranty and a service.

I’ve dealt with Fins before, nice guy, and marks em up so you can talk him down, never pay retail or asking price, especially from a dealer on used!!! cheers wildboy
