Good track?

Im looking to do my first trackday this year, im based North east london but has anyone got any recommendations for where to do it?

I’d say Brands would be a good place to start, not far from you either, I done my first trackday there and have been back a couple of times since

Silverstone…

The new MotoGP track…

Snetterton is also good if you’re new to track days. The track is quite simple with some easy corners and a couple of long straights. Loads of run off just in case too  Also has a restaurant which is good if you have people coming with you.

id say brands indy not too complex but enough of a challenge and easy to get too

thanks! think i’ll give brands hatch a go when the weather it a bit better and my chain/sprockets and clutch cable have all been replaced

do you guys take your bike on a trailer or in a van or do you just ride it there?

yeah Brands indy (GP is good, but not the best for a first) is a good one to do first off, also snetterton.

Have a look at MSV trackdays - they do novice only days in case you are worried about other people (but on a normal trackday there is no real need to be worried…)

I normally ride my bike there as I am close to Brands, and have a sister that lives in northampton (silverstone, rockingham and donny) and a mum in norfolk (snetterton) so makes it easier.

lots of people van it up and it does seem a nice way to do it (especially when it rains!)

if i had a van i’d definitely go that route but i will be riding until that happens

Rockingham is good, i did my first trackday there and it suited for smaller bikes:D

Lots of turns and the track is wide enough to run off a bit:D

One of the tracks with a good left hander, if your going let me know i join in wif the fun
