Sadly on public transport… the trumpet has decided to die again on me. this time its the battery thats dead, so booked it to get replaced at jack lilly tomorrow morning… £67.00 for battery!! Scandalous! Why cant we just run them on AAA’s?

Morning all, Caught the bikes front indicator on my back gate post while wheeling it out this morning. Only the spacer broke tho’ and managed to fix the indicator in place using a milk bottle top! Bought pack of 4!!! new spacers on the way into work and gonna sort it properly this afternoon. Great start to my day:D!!

Woman camps in fish freezer truck to prepare for South Pole expedition A woman is preparing for an expedition to the South Pole by spending hours at a time sat in a fish merchant’s freezer truck. Rachel Andrews, 41, is using the cold storage vehicle to help her acclimatise to temperatures as low as -58F (-50C) in the Antarctic.
She will be part of a team of three racing 430 miles across the Antarctic Plateau - the largest ice cap in the world - as part of the Amundsen Omega 3 South Pole Race.
The adventurer is using the back of Moby Nicks’ frozen fish van, a local company in her home town of Plymouth, to experience the sub-zero temperatures.
