been quiet on LB as had a little fall & bike has been at a super helpful friend’s (thx exclude!) awaiting parts to be fixed. bike’s return was greeted happily on weds night, only to be nicked the following night!
my reunion was to be short due to leaving uk but 1 day was a little too much of a shock. spent whole of thursday fixing up bits & pieces with biker friends only to wake the next morning to an empty carport potentially, due to bikes being in & out of the complex all day, it may have been spotted, attracting unwanted interest.
my terribly missed RR have been added to the ‘stolen vehicle database’. the missing bike is my avatar, only with a new std clear screen.
just wanted to say…don’t take any secured cctv complex for granted. don’t get complacent with security. treat your baby well & chain her up!
on a happier note, i have had brilliant times with this bike within the LB family. my year hear, exploring glorious english countrysides have been amazing! i even put a little gold LB sticker on the fairing! heading bk to ozzie winters now so please enjoy your summer for me & if i ever come bk to tour european rds, i’ll make sure i buzz you all first (& carry a chain EVERYWHERE!)
Sorry to hear about your bike, sorry I couldn’t have been more help, exams are a bit of a tough time for us students so doing legal research outside of the scope of exams is hard.

Was really sad to hear about your bike being nicked on Friday - was looking forward to seeing you at the Ace, rather than being tied up at the police station on your last Friday in the UK.
Sorry you had to miss the trip to Wales too with us, as a result of the bike being nicked. Though the weather hasn’t been our best friend, but still had fun. I’ll put up some photos in a bit

I think Uyen was looking forward to a last ride in the UK before heading home. Also I gather it was her birthday on Sunday, so an extra reason for a fun blast. I’m sure she didn’t need the stress of spending Friday evening in the police station too, poor thing.
I hope the insurance claim goes smoothly though and Uyen gets a full payout for her bike.
thx for your thoughts guys. on a sad note…altho it is my responsibililty, i got so caught up with biking i forgot about the upkeep of paperwork… MOT lapsed :crazy: got confirmation that i still get a payout, but just reduced sigh i’m such a foreigner.
