God, I miss smoking.

I was going through what the OP went through, gave up in December, started having the odd one this summer, then before you know it you’re smoking again.

Just have to be strong - definitely don’t have a cigar, don’t smoke anything, cos you will be smoking like a chimney again soon if you do.

I did give up for four years once, the only way I ever done it was, if I fancied one, simply to say to myself ‘I don’t smoke’ - none of the patches thing worked for me cos you’re still getting Nicotene in your blood so I still fancied a growler. Just take it day by day, then you can say to yourself ‘I haven’t smoked for x days/weeks/months’ which kine of makes it easier to stay off them.

Even when I gave up for 4 years I still fancied one - I don’t think that ever goes away - but it gets easier.
