yeah he’s backing it in. love the showing off he does but surely the wheelies would have just slowed him down (but gives that vicky-the-minger a chance to go on about him struggling to keep the front end down)
oh and jason going on about not changing the suspension? every bike should be set up by the dealer to the rider when you get it IMHO
Yeah he’s drifting…Lock the rear wheel with hard rear brake and countersteer into the turn.
You must keep the rear wheel spinning enough to lose enough traction and not grip which would send you into a lethal high side.
I think (not sure and not really knowing what I was doing) I did this at my first track day at Snetterton…I was locking the rear going into the corners cos it felt cool…I never knew what backing it in meant back then though…I just liked the feeling of a locked rear and being able to set it for the corner.
Wish I could regain some of that confidence I had almost 18 months ago…Crashing knocks you badly…Now that I’ve got a better understanding of things, hopefully that will be reduced
