Well done, keep it up, it’s well worth it ! I gave up a few years ago and the first two weeks are hell but it gets easier after that

Congratulations on getting this far! The first month is the hardest, but if you really want to give up it’s not that bad. I had my last smoke on the 7th April after more than 30 years of a 30-40 a day habit, and am loving being smoke free. Keep up the good work.

Cherie xx

Well done, I stopped smoking 4 years ago and I hate smoking now. Stick with it, it does get easier!!

Good work, keep it up

well done ! it’s good to see people give up. I hate smokers

same here stopped 3 years ago and love it

+1

You should think “I am a non smoker” not “I’m quitting” Congrats at this far

Stick in there mate, I smoked for 10 years then gave up about 9 years ago, best thing I ever did.
Really hate the smoke now !

Well done! Keep it up - you will feel so much better. (try and get the family off them as well - it’s harder to give up if you live with smokers + it will be good for their health).

I smoked for years and tried to give up a few times but kept coming back - eventually something just clicked and I thought - you know what - I don’t enjoy this any more - (don’t like the taste, makes me feel ill) and I just knocked it on the head and have never gone back (excepting the odd every 6 months cadging one down the pub - usually after a few beers when my judgement goes out of the window - always regret it the next day).

  • you’ll have more money to feed your bikes petrol habit!

+1. When I finally gave up my son had just moved back in with us, and he’s a smoker, and my other half was still smoking (both smoking in the house), but I found it made me want to quit even more. The family and guests can still smoke in my house, and I still go outside with my friends when they go for a smoke at the pub etc, as it has been part of my socialising for so long I’d miss the chat. I just don’t light up with them - I do feel really bloody smug watching them tho, coz I don’t NEED to do that anymore :D:D:D

Yeah that ^

Nice one.

Good luck with it fellah. It’s a really tough thing to do but so worth it!

Good on ya, I really love cigarettes but gave up 2 months ago due to some health problems. I think 2nd week was the worst one when my body started crying for nicotine. Chips and mayo help a bit

Keep it up even though it doesnt feel right. I gave up in 1997 and havent had one since and i was on 60 a day.

i quit smoking for 3 days b4 i suppose i will quit when im ready

I gave up 4 years ago, it’s a hard battle but if you want to do it then you’ll succeed

Thanks every one . day8 and im not going back to smoking. ill spend the money i save on my grandaughter:D

I’m struggling at the moment. Tried using the patches but they caused immense pain in the shoulder joints.

Will have to see the doctor see if I can continue using them.

Keep up the good run mate.
