Give us your opinions then...

Of course some of you will not like the music, but if you could let me know whether you think it is in sync? and any other feedback you think is useful, make more changes to picture in picture stuff, move it around more, keep it static etc etc, anything you can think of.

Took awhile to do, wondering whether it was/is worthwhile.

It’s good. Whose playing the guitar - really good as well.

Try and go for a bit of shot variation - e.g. in a music video they will shoot the performer completing the entire song in differnet locations and then cut it the locations together over the original music track (e.g. this requires a clever bit of syncing.)

Me on the guitar. Got a decent picture in picture tool for the PC instead of MovieMaker and wanted to see how it would work.

I might try different camera angles, and if I do it to some Classical Guitar I will try and include the picking hand.

The syncing was a massive pain though, it took about an hour per minute of footage, including recording and editing and syncing. I am sure there is an easier way but I don’t know it.

Nice - well impressed by the guitar!

Keep it up!

Can anyone name the influences?
I’m goin with late 80’s heavy metal… Iron Maiden maybe, almost definitely Metallica, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, maybe more recently Foo Fighters… I’m guessin you weren’t too thrilled by Grunge, but the off-shoots have reinvigorated your love for hair metal… am I even close? Or just wittering?

The only advice I could offer is that you should have tightened your watch strap, it’s clearly been nicked from your arm on the ‘sub’ videos

I have zero music ability, so when I see someone who can play I am in awe, well done I like it.

Ian

Didn’t mention, but should have done, though it is in the Youtube comment on the video.

The music is not mine. It is done by a band called Dethklok, which is a fictional band created for an adult cartoon called Metalocalpyse. It is worth watching, even if you are not into heavy metal as it is genuinely funny in places.

All words and music done by a single, fantastic, guitar player called Brendon Small.

I don’t know what his influences are but you sound spot on.

sounds good

good driving music:D
