not much to look at but im getting there in the rain
Still a bit to do looking at that. We can run over it before you go out anyway. As long as it does not have bits falling off it, no fluid spewing it should be fine. We will tape up mirrors and lights etc, whatever we need to do at the track. I will have tape and tools.
Hope you are getting excited, but not too much. Don’t forget, you need to bring your 2 part driving licence.
Looking at that second photo, it looks as though you’ve got your work cut out there! … Good luck!
Phoarrr looks like a right track tool there mate…
You sure you know what your doing here, right?
What tires are those? Get some Diablo Corsa’s on there if they make them in that size! You’re going to love it when you get into it mate, and a great choice of a bike. Will feel slow at first, but when you learn how to keep it pinned through the corners, you’ll be picking off sportsbike by the dozen.
Look forward to seeing it race over the weekend.
Best of luck with that mate - I had a RS250 for just under 4 years and have a soft-spot for strokers.
Check with guys running like bikes for suggested tyre options.
Pete,
Im trying to look for that linky you posted showing a vid of the rs250 and since the search facility isnt working properly, can you oist it again?
All back as one I just need to tape it up for the track she is a bit tatty but in working order I loved every minute working on it I spent the best part of six hours tinkering with her for some strange reason I like this bike more than my firestorm (apart for lack of power)
so all I got to do is wait for the day im going to take her for a run down to ace tomorrow night for that street fighter thing thats on she how she copes as I have to ride her all the way to brands hatch

Dylan gave it quite a pasting with lots of stickers.
Looks ok in the pictures. Hope the testing goes ok and look forward to seeing it ‘in the flesh’ on Saturday. Don’t worry, I shall make sure that I have plenty of tape on board…
Duck tape?
Thats the stuff, as well as insulation tape just in case. Electrical connectors, spanners, sockets, hammers, pliers, wire, cable ties, allen keys etc etc. Hopefully none will be needed but its best to cover eventualities.
Dylan has really plasterd it with them sam I need to get a hair dryer and peel them off, I took her out for a little run and all seemed ok so I guess/hope she will survive.
folks always used to run Avon AM22/23’s with good results in the ol’ days…
looking good DJ…
I’d second that am22/23 tyres were the things to have back then, used to run them on my powervalve
and they would stick to the road like glue.
Reminds me of the old days of elbow bashing pro -am racing.Raced LC`S for a few years myself, I fancy a go on that now.
See you at Brands and have fun mate.
Hey B we can swap bikes if you can handle the tzr sure you wont get carried away with all the power
Have you got the stickers Jason??
