Get ready for a thunderstorm

apparently its coming our way :w00t:

Nice! Hope everybodys got waterproofs with them.

It was hoofing down with rain the other day and I saw a bloke on a hair dryer with Sainsburys (other supermarkest are available) bags tied over his feet and marygolds over his ‘summer’ gloves. He looked like a tramp on two wheels

I did state earlier that your all gonna get soaked:P

got my textiles on today

Thats fi-ine. I’ll dump my gear in a bin bag and ride home nekkid.

not me, I’m on the train! carrying a fuel tank though :frowning:

and would rather be out getting wet on my bike :frowning:

**If the met office are correct your gonna need more than those to stay dry…Mwahhhhhhhh:P

OOOOH such fun your gonna be aquaplaning on 2 wheels pmsl**

prolly our very own Jp :D:D:D

stop quoting yourself :stuck_out_tongue:

its not me getting wet i need to worry about (its only 40 mins and theres a nice hot shower at the other end) - its the other numpties that will insist on turning into lemmings and doing stupid things :crying:

v good point!

Just got home before the heavy rain in North London.

Been bucketing down in Epping for last 10 minutes:angry:

Its pouring it down in Hackney :stuck_out_tongue:

Wet PPG!! :w00t::hehe:

I didn’t get a drop on me today! hehe

And it’s supposed to be dry tomorrow too.

That said, I’ve had my fair share of getting drenched (like 2wks ago at the Ace). Standing with no clothes on, trying to dry your boxers under the dryer in the disabled loos just doesn’t work… and you look ridiculous! :w00t:

:Whistling:

Me and my bike just went for a swim through the english summer downpour. We might as well have jumped in the river lea.

I dunno if my gear will be anywhere near dry for tomorrow :frowning:

i just rode from the royal brompton hospital, to charing x hospital to make my two last drops…i couldnt see anything on the road, drivers swerving to miss huge puddles, no indictaion at all…then i had to go on the west way…i thought i was in the thames…im so glad i had another courier tailgating me to keep cars away from us. then i had to filter the Euston road, and ride on through islington and hackney to get home.

MADNESS i have never rode in weather like it, on the A40 westway i was getting HIT by water from the other side of the carrigeway…unbeliveable.

am i pissed off…you bet…and fukign soaked too, ho i made it home in one piece i dont know.

Rats its August, chill out Mate, you just dry out with a couple of miles on the bike, its still comfortable :D…Wait till it gets cold, those big waves of water still come over the central reservation in Dec, Jan, your just ice then mate
