So its been a few weeks due to work commitments and pre-confirmed man feasts that i have not run the ride.
Well its back this week. This will be one of the last ones i do as the weather starts to change so if its on your bucket list to join me then please do this weekend - also you have a **** bucket list, pick some better stuff.
As usual VIP treatment will be give to BMW owners, no GS’s that are “clean as a whistle” and defiantly no bikes that scorch has fixed :w00t:
The ride is fantastic but it’s really only suitable for more advanced riders who have the smarts about them to ride at there own pace and not get sucked in by the rider in front. Some of us on this route have ridden it for over 2 years.
This is a religious ride, so please dress accordingly. No ugly birds only ugly blokes and if you don’t like the piss getting taken out of you this is prob not the ride for you.
The meeting point is the Dome Roundabout just off Junction 5 off the M1 up the A41 about a mile We meet in the forecourt of the Shell Garage.
MEETING TIME IS 7.45am with 8am departure. - Yes is early, i don’t need you to post and tell me that, i have worked that out myself.
NO Hedge trimmers (touch the grass and by everyone breakfast is the rule) , No Harleys and No 125’s. NO close followers, double white line overtakers or total Wkers. You get one warning then a punch in the face if your a tT. 30 MEANS 30
Other than that its totally fun. Good breakfast, crap jokes and a good way to blow off the cobwebs. Approx 200 miles back between 1-2.30pm.
dont think I will be along in the morning, but just thought I’d warn you that the fair is in chippy at the moment, and there are diversions in place, have fun.
I’m afraid not, too many errands to run. I might pop out for a short ride in the morning (if I wake up in time), but have to be back around 11-12ish at the latest. You’ll love Rixxy’s ride though, the route is great, and that road going past the prison is fantastic!
