Gerbing Heated Gloves- running 2 sets of gloves

im currently running a set of gerbing heated gloves that i have wired to the battery. The glove temperature is controlled by a junior heat controller.
I want to make it possible for a pillion to run an additional set of gloves off the bike.

Is it best/easiest to run a second connection harness from the battery and use the temp controller that comes with the second set of gloves?

in order for the pillion to have full control the temperature of their own set of gloves.

Any other suggestions

yes, that’s exactly how you should do it.

I’m planning to wire one of these into the Honda battery when I get a round tuit.

Its a four way fuse box. Wire the fuse box to your battery via 20 amp rated cable and a 20 amp fuse, then you can easily add up to four bits of kit and protect each circuit with the appropriate fuse. I’d doubt if you’d need more than 4 additional circuits but if you do then plan ahead and install the six way fuse box.

Thanks both for the advice.

Art, the fuse box look pretty handy. might even use one of those myself.

The mini controllers are only meant to run a pair of gloves. If you want to run a jacket and gloves, for example, Gerbing say you should use a main controller. As above, seperate line ot the battery and seperate controller and fusing is the way to go.

I bought one of those boxes before. with the knob on the top, there’s no where to mount them under the seat.

you’re better off getting 4 of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WATERPROOF-20A-Inline-Standard-ATO-Blade-Fuse-Holder-Fuse-Blown-Warning-LED-/301307817728?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4627586f00
