G'day

Hi guys, I’m new here so I thought I’d introduce myself.

I’m a recent import from Australia, living in west london. I promised myself that I wouldn’t buy a car while I was over here, seeing as how everyone that’s been here had raved about the tube and buses, but that promise doesn’t extend to bikes

I’ve swapped my aussie license for a UK one, so now it’s time to get a bike!

If anyone knows of someone that’s trying to sell a triumph speed four, let me know. For some reason, I’m attracted to those things :stuck_out_tongue:

welcome to LB mate

d’day mate! welcome to lb

Welcome to LB

My mate is moving back to aus today after being here for a few years! So I guess its carma you have just joined us. Plus he was a 675 rider

Welcome!

They were having a trackday challenge on Neighbours today!
Speed Triple v. Daytona (I think) - big ol’ product placement with Triumph, AGV and AStars logos all over the place!

Sorry for the obvious Aus reference

What’s it like biking over there then? I’d like to give it go.

Thanks guys!

If only I could afford a D675 or Street Triple, then I could properly replace him :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m from Melbourne. The best bit about being a biker in Melbourne is you’re legally allowed to park on the footpaths

If you are ever out that way though, give the Great Ocean Road a go. ~250km of tight winding roads that go along the coast. Great scenery, but you tend to get stuck behind caravans :frowning:

There aren’t as many bikers back home though. Here I see scooters and bikes all over the place. When I was heading to work, it was very rare for me to pull up to a set of lights and have another guy on a bike there too.

Hiya & welcome to LB

Hello and welcome to lb
