This has almost become an annual event, so I’m judging the level of interest before I start planning for 2014. Last year it was held at the OMC and a good time was had by all. I’ll have to speak to them again about the venue.
If you are interested please post below. The videos accompanying last years course are here some of them need updating now so what better opportunity.
Last years course covered the following:
Installation
Navigation
Planning a route using Tyre or Bascamp
Executing a planned route
What can go wrong when executing a planned route
Safety camera alerts
Reviewing your ride data when you get home
Viewing in Google Earth
Adding to my trip
Post event analysis
8.Pairing with your phone
Calling your friends
9.Adding Music
Revving your engine at girls (if people are interested in this)
Excellent, well it looks as if there is some interest so I’ll set the ball rolling.
I still remember that, “I don’t want to go to Stone Henge.” And thinking, “Why is he talking about stone Henge.” 2013 wasn’t my best year for rideouts.
A useful additional module might be ‘Joining Motorways’
It wouldn’t necessarily have to be Southbound vs Northbound on the M11, Eastbound vs Westbound on the most excellent M4 would be a very acceptable alternative example
Just a quick update. Garmin are releasing a new Zumo soon, the 590LM so I’ll delay the seminar and present it on this model rather than the 660 which is a few years old now.
