Just moved to Camden town and want to upgrade my hack.
Only problem is I really have no where to put it and the council want to charge me £36 for a garage (once I get to the top of the waiting list)!
Was wondering if anyone knew of any garages just lying around - would love to share!
Is that £36 a week or a month?
The going around where I live is about £60-65 a month, if you can find one.
hey £36 a week! I think I got wind that if I lived on a council estate it would be £5 a week or something.
find someone who lives in council estate then, ask him to rent a garage with his name, pay him £10 a month, you happy, he’s happy. all happy! simple as that :d

Good point. You could always build one somewhere. Apparently there is a stretch of road in Plumstead which is classified as an offshore dependancy and the planning restrictions are extremely lax.
I’m in SW15 (far from Camden, I know), but I have space in my bike only garage.
