Galaxy Nexus

The next big Android device has been announced to be released on November 17th in Europe. For those not in the know, it would appear to be a cross between the Nexus S and Galaxy SII, so huge big screen (full 720p) but with sexy curves.

The big selling point will be Ice Cream Sandwich, Android 4.0. There are quite a few new features introduced. Admittedly, many had been available via 3rd part apps, but it’s nice to have them as standard. If you want to know more, here’s a video -

There’s no confirmed price as yet, but now there’s a release date, I guess pricing can’t be far behind.

If you’re looking for a new phone in the next few weeks, you will likely want to take a look at this device.

Here’s my final review of the Galaxy Nexus.

Amazing device, I highly recommend it.

Having said that, Ice Cream Sandwich is mainly what makes it, if you’re happy waiting 3 or 4 months (or possibly much longer) for your device to get it, then probably not worth the upgrade.
