Fun route needed

I’m taking my Suzuki to Crescent down near Bournemouth and I was wondering if any people here knew of any nice routes down from London rather than just M25/M3 etc. Would be a shame to square those tyres off.

Got any ideas?

TIA

are you going to the main crescent in verwood or the smaller shop nr bournemouth???

find a good route down to salisbury ( i used to just motorway it the a303) and then head out through wilton all the way to shaftesbury on the a30, from shaftesbury you need to get the A350 to blandford forum!! YOU WILL PROBABLY TURN AROUND AND DO THIS STRETCH OF ROAD AGAIN!! then get the b3082 to wimborne (wimbore minster) from wimborne follow the signs for RINGWOOD, from here both crescents are easy to get to, verwood is signposted from wimborne and ringwood, cant remember the way to the smaller shop!!

i know on the map you go too far south on this route but it is definatly worth it for the A350!!

Thanks Adam! Yes, it’s the one in Verwood.

I’ll plot that route on Mapsource tonight, it sounds great.

May I suggest another thats a little more direct than shooting over to the A350?

A30 from chobham to basigstoke, M3 to the 303 (basingstoke is dull) then pick up the quite excellent stockbridge road (brilliant pub called the Mayfly on the river there - food is excellent) through romsey then over the M27 to Lyndhurst, through the forest (brilliant ride) and then up to Stoney Cross, Burley and into Verwood.

If I may suggest from Boxhill.

It was easy when I only had 2 routes. I’ve not got 4 so I’m going to have to book the bike in for some more work another time

Thanks everyone!
