BIKE IS SOLD!!! TYRES STILL AVAILABLE!!
Also selling a pair of used Pireli Supercorsa SP, it has done 2 slow novice trackdays, but unfortunately both of them were wet and rain all day! So the tyre hasn’t been worn much at all as you can see in the pictures.
Looking for £70 or near offerPrefer collection but can be posted at buyer’s cost or you can arrange courier yourself.
Posting for a friend? That’s your bike mate!
nah thats not mine, mine has got gold wheels
Not sure if its just me but £4200 for a 7 year old bike seems a little steep. Do they hold their value that well?
Lovely looking bike.
eBay does have that year of 675 all going at around £4,300 from dealers.
That’s the thing, new bike prices are high, and so are second hand prices. The price I got for my TDM when I part exchanged was only £900 less than what I paid for it. That was after 3 years and 12K miles.
Have a look at the new prices of the 600 class sports bikes, they are all around £9K or higher.
never took it out when raining, apart from the two trackdays, where it was raining all day. :Whistling:
nice looking bike though, not sure it matters whether it has previously been wet or not.
i may be wrong,. but im pretty sure that the 675 wasn’t available in black in 2006. the launch colours being red/grey and a weird gold colour. black didnt come out till 2007, and then it would have come with gold wheels… sure its never been crashed?
If it has been crashed then it looks to be in pretty good condition for it!
all new panels from a later bike would do that… :doze:
But then you’d need new tank, tail section, bar ends, levers, exhaust etc… plus maybe engine cases… hassle :doze:
my point still stands, That bike in that year wasn’t available in the at colour, with those wheels. make of that what you will.
It was though.
Changes between March 2006 & September 2007» Masterbike version, limited to 100 bikes. » Jet Black colour.
then refer to my first post, where i said i may be mistaken.
you said you might be wrong, but in your following post you seemed quite adamant that you were right. you weren’t though, were you. it’s lovely factory black, and very nice it is too, at a reasonable price.
i was going on my own knowledge of the bike, AND off of the knowledge of Metropolis’s triumph sales man who also says that in 2006, the UK colours available were, gold, red and grey with black being sold on a '56 plate (07 bike) only. EXCEPT for US market who had black.
like i said i may be wrong and the man who has done nothing but sell triumphs for the last 15 years may also be wrong…
always trust the geeks Matt, they are geeks for a reason…

2006 colours UK were:
2006 Triumph Daytona 675 Triple
Could be as simple as new colour due to the amount of order Triumph recieved as they did not produce enough for the demand, could in fact be an import or panels brought after a crash! The 07 Black had Gold Wheels and was a special edition colour as they kept the red/gold/graphite for 2007 - in 2008 it was the Blue and Jet black but had different decals - it just looks like the special edition panels but without the gold wheels!
Again - I could be wrong but does not seem like a genuine 2006 colour scheme!

So it’s saying there was no black model in 2006, it was introduced in September 2007?
Doesn’t that just prove Matt’s point?
