Front Brake Pads - 04 GSX-R750

Anyone have any idea what the “normal” life span on front brake pads are on an 04 GSX-R750? (“normal” indicating non-track use)

Has anyone had good luck with a specific brand of aftermarket brake pads? Or do you normally go stock pads again when they wear out?

I ran with Carbon Lorraine on my K4 750, Greg, and they were very, very good. They didn’t need long to warm up, unlike other HH compound pads, and were just as good on the road, as they were at the track (no fade). I don’t know how long they lasted, but a long time as I can’t remember changing them.

If you don`t mind spending a bit more,the standard ones are hard to beat in my opinion and that
includes for track use as well.Some racers prefer them,They offer very good consistency and feel
Just changed mine today on the K5 750 and put in EBC HH pads which are reportedly very good.Carbon
Lorraine sbk pads are very good too.
